Nip+Fab Matte Liquid Lipsticks!

13:22

hey girlies,

I have been testing out the Nip+Fab matte liquid lipsticks for nearly 2 months now, so I thought I'd do a little review for you guys to help you decide on whether you should pick some up next time you drop by superdrug ;) Nip+Fab were well known for their great skincare range, and have recently released their new makeup range consisting of foundations, lip products, contour palettes, highlighter palettes and more. I thought I'd try the liquid lipsticks before I gave any of their other makeup products a go. I love all of Nip+Fabs simple and sleek packaging, and once again they haven't disappointed with the packaging on these.

Colour range -
The matte liquid lipsticks come in 10 shades (I purchased all 10), and they provide a great colour range of nudes, peaches, browns and pinks, from light to dark and different undertones. The colours are a bit hit and miss as some of the lighter colours make me look quite washed out, but I believe there is a perfect shade for every skin tone within the colour range as there are so many to choose from. I love creating ombre lips with these as the colours go so well together.

Texture and how they feel on the lips -
The texture is creamy and easy to apply with the standard doe foot applicator. They are quite pigmented so you only need a few swipes to cover your lips, however some colours are a little streaky so do require more effort to get the perfect application. They do dry matte yet feel quite sticky on the lips. A little tip to combat the tackiness is to pat some powder over the lipstick and your good to go. This can change the colour slightly but will help get rid of the tacky feeling on your lips. Also, they are a little drying which most matte liquid lipsticks tend to be, so its best to use a moisturiser before applying them. I use the Nivea Hydro Care Lip Balm for a smooth and easy application, and it keeps my lips hydrated. Be careful not to apply too much lip balm underneath though, as that can also cause it to feel a little tacky and it won't dry matte. But if you like more of a satin look then go for it, put as much lip balm on underneath as your heart desires lool.

Longevity -
I'd say the longevity was quite good and similar to how other matte liquid lipsticks usually last. It lasts about 5-6 hours without having to re-apply unless you eat or drink, then you may need to re-apply as the middle section usually rubs off.

Overall I'm quite impressed with Nip+Fabs new matte liquid lipsticks and would recommend it to anyone looking to add some liquid lipsticks to their collection. Im excited to try more of their products, and hopefully review them for you!

Hope this helps you guys,
Love Derya xx
