Hey girlies!
I have had some requests to review the I ♡ Makeup - I ♡ Chocolate - Golden Bar Eyeshadow Palette after posting pictures of it on my Instagram, so I thought I'd do a little blog post for you guys.
The palette claims to consist of 16 matte and shimmer eyeshadows, however all shades in this palette have some sort of shimmer to it, so even the shades that claim to be 'matte', are actually more of a foiled eyeshadow. So if you are a matte lover, this palette isn't really for you. The palette has a really generous sized mirror so you could easily do your full face of makeup with it, which is a huge plus. When I am travelling I like to take this with me both to use the eyeshadows, and also to do my makeup using the large mirror which is handy lool. The palette itself is quite bulky, making it difficult to store as it does take up space, however the packaging and beautiful colours make up for it.

When swatching these shadows they felt super creamy and buttery. They transfer really easily onto the eye using a brush or your finger, and are very pigmented and intense. A few shades such as Ribbon require a bit more work to show up, however the majority of shades have such good colour payoff so that definitely didn't put me off!
I have created my favourite eyeshadow look - halo eye - with the palette for you guys to see some of the shades and pigmentation! First I used 'edible' as my transition shade, then patted on 'block' and 'beans' on the outer and inner corner of my eye. I then took 'gift' onto my brush and blended into my crease so all the colours could come together seamlessly. Next I used 'foil' on the centre of my lid and then 'chocolatier' in my inner corner near my tear duct. Finally I used 'collection' on the brow bone and then put on some wispy lashes to complete the look.
As you can tell, this eyeshadow palette is well loved and used and is one of my favourites. I would definitely recommend it, especially for quality you get for the bargain price of £8.99 for 16 shades on the Tam Beauty website. With each eyeshadow coming to 56p, you'd be crazy not to purchase one for yourself!
